Contact by email

This website contains no form: you contact me by email, at your initiative.

Processed data: your email address, your name if you share it, and the content of your message.

Purpose: answering your request and following up on our exchanges. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest.

Retention: for the time needed to handle your request, then 3 years at most after the last contact.

Recipient: me only. Emails travel through the email providers involved, yours and mine.

Server logs

Like any web server, mine records technical logs during your visit: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser used.

Purpose: service security, abuse detection and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Retention: 12 months at most. Location: server located in Germany (European Union).

Audience measurement

This website uses Umami, an open source analytics tool self-hosted on my own server, configured without cookies and without cross-site tracking.

Data is aggregated and anonymized: pages viewed, traffic source, country, device type. It cannot identify you.

This setup is exempt from consent under the French CNIL guidelines. No data leaves the European Union.

Previews of delivered websites

Project cards may display a live preview of websites I built and host on my own infrastructure.

Loading these previews transmits your IP address to that same server, as for any web page. No advertising tracker is present on them.

Administration area

This website includes an administration area restricted to its operator. Its session cookie only concerns the operator and is only set upon login.

Transfers outside the European Union

The website is hosted in Germany and no third-party service transfers your data outside the European Union.

Only email delivery depends on the email providers involved.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over your data.

To exercise them: contact@quentin-ritzler.dev. Answer within one month at most.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

This website only sets cookies strictly necessary for it to work, exempt from consent. This is why no banner is displayed: we do not ask for a consent we do not need.
